Out of This World Embellishments
a designer collaboration by harris & bruno
THE PROGRAM
Out of This World Embellishments is a creative initiative led by Harris & Bruno with support from print industry partners Taktiful, DSCOOP, and HP. The goal is to give designers early access to next generation digital embellishment technology and real industry mentorship.
Participants will explore the full potential of tactile print by having their designs produced on the Harris & Bruno ZRX Digital Embellishment Press. The program blends imagination with production, showing how digital embellishments such as spot coating and foil can elevate a piece from ordinary to unforgettable.
YOUR CREATIVE MISSION
Design a piece that revolves around specific digital embellishment effects from the ZRX, such as Spot Coating, xMatte emboss-like effects, and Foil Stamping.
Designers are encouraged to create anything inspired by space, exploration, or futuristic storytelling. Some examples include:
> Key art built around planets, nebulae, the cosmos, or otherworldly feels
> Fictional space themed products: moon boots, zero-g coffee, etc.
> A poster or postcard, mission patch, or flyer for an interstellar travel agency
judging & Awards
All entries will be reviewed and scored by Harris & Bruno and invited partners from Taktiful, DSCOOP, and HP. Select pieces will be produced for a world-wide sample pack, and automatically submitted to the FSEA Gold Leaf Awards at no cost to the designer.

Final art is due no later than January 16, 2026.

Harris & Bruno reviews and produces select pieces at our Innovation Center.

Finished samples are mailed back for portfolios, presentations, or display.

There is no cost to participate. The program is built to inspire designers and highlight the creative potential of tactile print.
