NICK BRUNO | President

Nick joined Harris & Bruno in 1984. His main area of focus is building relationships with key customers and markets as the visionary for the company, and ensuring that the company goals and values are adhered to. H&B has an unrelenting commitment to providing high quality, value added products and services, and Nick spends a good portion of his day making sure that everyone within the company stays focused on this goal. Nick loves to get into the field to see first hand what customers’ needs are, and especially enjoys experiencing various international cultures. Nick is also passionate about getting tomorrow’s generation interested in opportunities within manufacturing, and ensuring that Harris & Bruno is pivotal within the local community. He is an avid believer of Sam Walton’s (founder of Wal Mart) theory of MBWA (management by walking around) and he makes sure to walk through the building at least once per day and makes an effort to get to know each and every employee.

Prior to joining Harris and Bruno, Nick worked in Silicon Valley for several years as a young engineer. He graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo with a degree in Industrial Engineering. Nick chose this school for their “learn by doing” philosophy.

Nick’s passion for machinery started at a very young age. During breaks from school and part time jobs, he could be found at Harris & Bruno making a go kart, a mini bike, or whatever else was the excitement of the time. This developed into a passion for cars, and Nick and his father started doing complete ground up restorations on classic American cars whenever they had the time. Even though time is in short supply, Nick still enjoys keeping the old classics running that he and his father worked on.

When not at work, Nick enjoys being outdoors with family and friends. He loves to play golf, hunt, and fish. Nick and his wife really enjoy sharing their travel, life, and culinary experiences with their children and grandchildren, and believe that each and every culture has something to offer that can enrich all lives.
