Foil and Flowers: A Collaborative Fold with GPA

Some samples make you stop and stare. This is one of them.

In a recent collaboration between GPA and Harris & Bruno, with Corefact providing print production, a stunning Poppy Folder piece was brought to life. Printed on GPA’s premium White C2S Board, this sample was designed to push creative boundaries and showcase the possibilities of digital embellishment.

At the center of digital embellishment innovation is the Harris & Bruno ZRX. Known for its precision and speed, the ZRX was used to apply four unique foil finishes: Gold, Red, Silver Holographic, and Clear Holographic. These were paired with a raised UV spot coating to create a vivid blend of color, depth, and texture that transforms the poppy design into a tactile experience.

This piece was created specifically for DSCOOP Edge Long Beach, where it quickly became a crowd favorite. Small enough to slip in your bag, but big enough to hold additional samples, this folder was both functional and dazzling. The response from attendees confirmed that bold print combined with advanced embellishment doesn't just get noticed, it gets remembered.

Each fold and foil catches the light in a different way, showing the full range of effects possible with the ZRX. From smooth metallic shine to sculpted, embossed textures, this sample delivers an unforgettable visual and sensory impression.
