Joining Designers and Digital Embellishment

Harris & Bruno is excited to invite designers to be part of a creative initiative that brings imagination, print, and advanced digital embellishment together. Out of This World Embellishments is built in partnership with Taktiful, DSCOOP, and HP to give designers early access to next generation embellishment technology along with guidance from leaders across the print industry.

This program is an opportunity to explore how tactile finishes can elevate design, and get real-world experience with designing for digital embellishment. Select participants will have their artwork produced on the Harris and Bruno ZRX Digital Embellishment Press, a platform known for premium flood coatings, tactile spot coatings, and dazzling foil effects that transform flat design into something you can feel.

The Mission

Designers are invited to submit a piece built around specific digital embellishment effects from the ZRX, to showcase what happens when print goes beyond the CMYK. All artwork should be inspired by space, exploration, or futuristic storytelling. The theme is intentionally broad to encourage creativity. Anything that feels imaginative, atmospheric, or otherworldly is encouraged.

Judging and Recognition

All entries will be reviewed and scored by Harris & Bruno along with select print industry partners. Top pieces will be produced as print samples and included in a global sample pack that highlights the future of digital embellishment. Top work will also be submitted to the FSEA Gold Leaf Awards, at no cost to the designer.
