Printing United 2025 in Orlando was packed with energy, conversation, and innovation. For Harris & Bruno, it was a moment to connect with partners and customers while showcasing how coating and digital embellishment continue to redefine what print finishing can achieve.

Industry Recognition with a Pinnacle Award for the ZRX

This year at Printing United, Harris & Bruno was proud to be recognized as a winner of the 2025 Pinnacle Award from the PRINTING United Alliance for the ZRX Digital Embellishment Press. The award celebrates innovation and leadership across the print industry, and for H&B it marks an important milestone in our journey to redefine and push the boundaries of digital embellishment.

The ZRX continues to stand out for its ability to flood coat, spot coat, and foil in a single pass, all without dies, plates, or screens. It also introduces the exclusive xMatte effect, which delivers a tactile, emboss-like texture that elevates print from visual to experiential.

Receiving this award reinforces our commitment to advancing print finishing and helping printers deliver more impactful, efficient, and sustainable results. 

The ZRX & the Power of Touch

Samples from the ZRX took center stage at the booth, as the next evolution in print finishing. Combining flood coating, spot coating, and foil in a single pass, the ZRX gives printers more ways to create impact with ease. Attendees were especially drawn to its ability to embellish uncoated media without lamination, a feature that continues to open new doors for sustainability and creativity.

H&B’s booth grabbed attention with its range of tactile, eye-catching samples. Visitors could see and feel the difference that digital embellishment brings, from the high-shine of spot coating and foil, to the dull emboss-like xMatte effect. Each piece demonstrated how texture can transform printed communication into something memorable and meaningful.

ZRW Web Coating Collaboration with Kodak

This year’s show also featured a collaborative sample pack between Harris & Bruno and Kodak, designed to highlight what happens when coating meets phenomenal print. The pack illustrated how advanced aqueous and UV coatings can elevate and enhance inkjet output. Kodak and H&B went with deep color filled print that underscored the strength of partnership between color science and coating technology. Visitors responded positively, noting the vibrant gloss, smooth laydown, and production-speed capability the ZRW delivers for high-speed web printers.

The ZRW remains a standout for web presses, allowing printers to apply protective or decorative coatings inline without sacrificing speed or quality. From chamber/anilox precision to Synergy coatings optimized for inkjet, the message was clear: efficiency and excellence go hand in hand.

The Embellishment Technology Tour

One of the highlights of Printing United 2025 was the Embellishment Technology Tour, organized by Taktiful. Harris & Bruno was proud to be featured among the select group of companies recognized for pushing the boundaries of tactile print.

The tour brought attendees through a curated journey of the show floor, highlighting the latest advancements in digital embellishment, special effects, and coating. For H&B, it was an opportunity to show how technologies like the ZRX and ZRW are making embellishment faster, smarter, and more accessible.

Beyond the technical demonstrations, the tour fostered meaningful conversations with designers, brand managers, and printers about how embellishment impacts both creativity and business value. Being part of this tour represented more than just showcasing technology, and was really about contributing to a collective industry effort to reimagine what print can be.
