Snowflake Holiday Card Collaboration with GPA

For this year’s holiday season, we partnered with GPA to create a festive card that blends premium paper with the full creative range of digital embellishment. The result is a bright, joyful piece that showcases what is possible when high-quality substrates meet advanced finishing on the Harris & Bruno ZRX Digital Embellishment Press.

Printed on GPA Pearl Starlight 110 pound cover, the card starts with a light grey pearl base that already carries a quiet, elegant shimmer. That subtle glow becomes the perfect foundation for the high-shine effects layered on top, allowing every foil to stand out with clarity and brilliance.

Four Foils, Zero Dies

To bring the artwork to life, the card was made entirely of four distinct foils (red, green, gold, and holographic silver), each chosen to enhance the holiday theme through rich color and dimensional shine. Applied in various fashions, the foils showcase various techniques, such as Foil over Foil, Knockouts, and Single Foil laydown.

Because the ZRX requires no dies or screens, each foil is digitally applied with precision, making it possible to combine multiple colors, textures, and varying levels of height across a single piece without the complexity of traditional workflows.

GPA Pearl Starlight: A Perfect Pairing to Foil

Paper plays a major role in how embellishment behaves and how a finished piece feels in the hand. GPA Pearl Starlight offers a light grey pearlescent surface that naturally enhances reflective effects without overpowering the artwork.
